Members of the Joint Iranian-Pakistani Border Committee agreed to hold a meeting to remove the obstacles to the development of legal trade between the two countries and to increase the level of commodity-to-commodity exchanges.

The Joint Iranian-Pakistani Border Committee agreed to hold a meeting to remove the obstacles facing the development of legal trade between the two countries and to increase the commodity-to-commodity exchange agreement aimed at bringing the volume of commodity exchanges between Iran and Pakistan to the designated targeting.
It was the 10th meeting of the joint border committee of the two countries, led by Davood Shahraki, deputy governor of Sistan and Baluchestan for the Iranian delegation, and Abdul Ghadir Mamoon, the Pakistani customs official, headed by the delegation.
Shahraki said Iran is seeking to reach a designated targeting of trade with Pakistan and remove barriers to the development of cooperation between the two countries.
"We are ready to create more border markets with Pakistan," he said. The Iranian official stressed that the two countries' trade deal reached in 2010 should be implemented.
Abdul Ghadir Mamoon also announced on behalf of Pakistan that it is important for the country to achieve its designated trade targeting with Iran and to develop trade exchanges. He stressed that more cooperation should be done to develop and increase trade between the two countries.
